Governance & Audit Committee (GAC)

The Governance & Audit Committee was formed by the Board to review and provide recommendations to the Board and Members on matters related to finance, audit and governance, consistent with the organisation's policies and procedures. The GACcomprises of three persons appointed from amongst the Board with the exception of the Chair of the committee, which is appointed from a non-Board Member.

PAO Development Committee (PAODC)

The Professional Accountancy Organisations (PAO) Development Committee is a working committee formed to provide input and recommendations to the Board regarding strategies and activities for CAPA to pursue, consistent with the organisation's vision and mission in respect to PAO development. This includes leading CAPA's objective of "contributing to the formation and development of strong and sustainable professional accounting organisations capable of providing and maintaining accountants to effectively meet the needs of the country in which they operate". In the spirit of "inclusiveness", participation in this committee is open to the entire CAPA membership.

Public Sector Financial Management Committee (PSFMC)

The Public Sector Financial Management (PSFM) Committee is a working committee formed to provide input and recommendations to the Board regarding strategies and activities for CAPA to pursue consistent with the organisation's vision and mission in respect to public sector financial management matters. This includes leading CAPA's objective of "liaising with governments, regional and national organisations to influence the development of public sector financial management" and "promoting the benefits of high quality financial management and reporting in the public sector, including international standards in accounting, auditing, ethics and accounting education". In the spirit of "inclusiveness", participation in this committee is open to the entire CAPA membership.
