CAPA is an organisation that exists to serve its member organisations. Organisations that support CAPA's vision, mission and values are welcome to join.

At present there are three categories of CAPA membership: Member, Associate  and Affiliate. The Board is given the authority to admit organisations into CAPA.

 

Member  - accountancy organisations, headquartered in the Asia and Pacific region (as defined by CAPA) and:

A Member shall be entitled to attend and vote at a general meeting of the Company through its duly authorised representative. 

 

Associate - accountancy organisations, headquartered in the Asia and Pacific region (as defined by CAPA) which have an interest in the accountancy profession. Such organisations demonstrate a commitment to, but do not meet all, the Member admission criteria. An Associate is entitled to attend the general meeting through its duly authorised representative, but are not entitled to vote thereat or to be counted in the quorum. 

 

Affiliate - organisations that have a recognised interest in the accountancy profession in the Asia and Pacific region which is either:

An Affiliate shall be entitled to attend at a general meeting of the Company through its duly authorised representative but shall not be entitled to vote thereat or to be counted in the quorum.

 

A CAPA Member must be a sponsor for the organisation applying for Member and Associate categories. Those applying for these membership may contact CAPA Members directly for sponsorship.
