The Financial Reporting for Economic Development - Asia Forum, originally scheduled for 29-30 October to be held in Seoul, Korea, has been rescheduled to 2016. The date and location for the event is being determined and will be made available once confirmed.
The Forum, an exclusive by-invitation-only event, aims to boost awareness amongst regulators and policy makers on the role and importance of accounting and auditing to enhance the climate for business and to strengthen public financial management to enhance governance and accountability.
Themed 'Driving Better Outcomes from Past Experience', the 2016 Forum will have a special focus on the public sector as it explores why good public financial management is important in the creation of a sound investment climate to foster jobs, economic growth, and shared prosperity.
