The 2014 CAPA Annual Report is now available on the CAPA website.
Themed 'Collaborating in Asia Pacific', the report highlights CAPA's activities and achievements in the year 2014, many of which was jointly held with other organisations and stakeholders.
CAPA President, Sujeewa Mudalige, reflected on 2014 being a very eventful and fulfilling year. CAPA was able to engage with a myriad of stakeholders whom were all very enthusiastic to work towards common goals. "It demonstrated the importance of collaboration in order to achieve mutual objectives," he commented.
CAPA Chief Executive, Brian Blood, viewed 2014 as a year in which relationships with key stakeholders were established for the first time, re-established after a period of slowdown, or strengthened in depth and trust, making it a continuation from 2013 which he described as a "year of firsts'. "As a regional body, our success invariably depends on the strength of relationships established and mutually relied upon with our key stakeholders; in this respect, it was a most satisfying year," he added.
CAPA is continuing to grow and is looking forward to a special year in 2015 with two major events being planned - the 19th CAPA Conference and the 2nd Financial Reporting for Economic Development Forum.
