Board and Committees

A Board of up to twelve members is elected every fours years from within the membership. The Board is assisted by two active committees, members of which are selected from within the Board, with the exception of the Chair of the Governance & Audit Committee.

Roles and responsibilities are set out in a Board of Directors Manual. In addition, there are two other working committees focused on the areas of developing professional accountancy organisations (PAOs) and public sector financial management (PSFM).

Roles and responsibilities are set out in the Committee Charters. Members at all meetings may be accompanied by Technical Advisors from the Member organisations. Technical Advisors play a very valuable role in assisting Board and Committee members perform their responsibilities and in providing additional voluntary resources and links to their organisations.
